An autumn day and a drive along a stretch of scenic highway in rural British Columbia. I had no camera with me and only the few remembered impressions to help me with the sketch for this print.
But maybe that’s a good thing because my memory reduced those impressions to the most basic elements: rolling grassy slopes, stands of aspens turning gold, a border of evergreens creating a backdrop.
A six-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, carved and printed by hand from a single block, each colour printed individually.
Every print in this edition is unique; minor variations are possible and are the result of the process by which it’s made. Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor.
Each print bears the number within the edition and the artist’s signature.
